Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday mornings begin with an informal gathering in our Fellowship Hall.  This is a good time to meet visitors, new members and catch up with each other before going into the Sanctuary. This time of fellowship is from 9:00 am - 9:30 am.  Coffee and an assortment of Tea are provided, both regular and decaf, as well as hot chocolate.  Water is available at the water fountain between the Men's and Women's bathrooms.  There is also a spout at the Kitchen sink for filtered water.

At 9:30 we begin our Services.  We spend roughly 30 minutes in Worship - singing praise to God.  All children join their parents in the sanctuary during this time.  We do try to have fun children songs especially during the summer months when we have a higher attendance of children.

Following worship the children are dismissed to their classes.  Adults & high school students remain in the Sanctuary for Announcements, stand for reading printed in the weekly bulletin and to hear the sermon of the week.

We have a full nursery for ages 0 through 3 years of age.  The room is equipped with pack-n-plays, rocking chair, toys, books, music and more.

There is a bathroom attached directly to the Nursery and Pre-School Classrooms.  This room is equipped with a changing table at the end nearest the nursery.

Children's Sunday School

We provide a pre-school class in addition to our grade school class (grades K - 5)

Middle School

6th - 8th Grades

We have a small group of Middle School age students in this class.  The Pastor's Wife Connie Smith currently teaches this class.  The aim of this class is to move from what has been learned in elementary school classes to understanding how to apply this is to ever-changing daily experiences.

High School

9th - 12th Grade

We've previously had Sunday School for our high school aged family members.  However, at this time we do not currently have an active program due to having a low population of high school students.  The few high school age students remain in the sanctuary to hear the message from Pastor Al.

Another area high school age community members participate with other Youth at Grace Church of South Park is the Puppet Ministry.  See the separate section for Eagle Puppeteers or contact Geri Clinton.
